  • Student will receive a 3-point reduction on their Idaho Driving Record.
    • Point Reduction can be done every 3 years to reduce points on Driving Record. Ensure points are showing before taking the course

How long is the Course?

Insurance Defensive Driving Course is designed to be completed in 6 hours, which is in line with the state requirement. But guess what? You don't have to do it all in one go! Feel free to pause, log out, and come back whenever it suits you. We've got your back with saving all your progress, so you can pick up right where you left off.

 

If it is your second time doing the course and is just doing it as a refresher, you just need to spend 3 hours but ensure you take the refresher course so that you are eligible for the 3 hour course. 

 

How Many Chapter Does it have?

 
Course would have a total of 10 chapters including final quiz which consist of videos, activities and some short reading materials. 
 

Does the Course have Quiz?

Just a heads up about the quizzes! After you finish each chapter, there'll be a quiz waiting for you. It's super easy, just 3 questions, and they're all multiple-choice. 

Final quiz just has 25 question which you need to get 21 correct answers to pass.

What if you fail the quiz? No worries, you get unlimited attempts to pass the quiz :)   

 

How do I get my Certificate?

Once you've aced the course, we'll zip that completion certificate right over to you in a flash! Seriously, you can expect it within the next 30 minutes after finishing up the course.

All you've gotta do is hop back into your course, hit that "download completion certificate" button, and boom, it's all yours!

 

How do I get the Discount applied on my Insurance policy?

Once you have downloaded your certificate, you just need to send that over to your Insurance Agent or Insurance provide so they can apply the discount on your Insurance Policy.

 

Does your course get reported to ITD?

Once you have finished the course, we report course completion the next business day after course completion for Point Reduction Only to ITD.
