Course Benefits
- Missouri Driver’s License holders who received a traffic citation for moving violations can enroll in
the Missouri Driver Improvement Program or DIP, (also known as an online Missouri defensive
driver course) to avoid point assessment on their Missouri driving record.
Requirements
- A plea of GUILTY must be made
- Citation fine payment of must first be made to the Fine Collection Center
- Students must complete an approved DIP course within 60 days of making a guilty plea will allow you to attend DIP to avoid points on your driver’s license
- You should check with the court in the county where the ticket was issued to learn about local policies concerning DIP
How long is the Course?
Course is designed to be completed in 8 hours, which is in line with the state requirement. But guess what? You don't have to do it all in one go! Feel free to pause, log out, and come back whenever it suits you. We've got your back with saving all your progress, so you can pick up right where you left off.

Hey, just a heads up about the quizzes! After you finish reading each chapter, there'll be a quiz waiting for you. It's super easy, just 3 questions, and they're all multiple-choice. Final quiz just has 50 question which you need to get 40 correct answers to pass.
What if you fail the quiz? No worries, you get unlimited attempts to pass the quiz :)
How do I get my Certificate?
Once you've aced the course, we'll zip that completion certificate right over to you in a flash! Seriously, you can expect it within the next 30 minutes after finishing up the course.
All you've gotta do is hop back into your course, hit that "download completion certificate" button, and boom, it's all yours!
What to do next?
Official certificates are mailed to the Missouri Dept. of Revenue every Monday for the previous week (Monday – Sunday) completion by the school. Missouri Dept. of Revenue would then do the rest and not put your violation on the record.
Check with Missouri Dept. of Revenue after two weeks to ensure everything has been processed and points was avoided from appearing on your Driving record.
